- ★ ★ ★ ★ ★My parents are local, and this is their favourite "everyday" breakfast-lunch-dinner spot. Everything is homemade, not frozen prepared items that are simply "heat & serve" like some other places in town. Adequate beverage choices, including local microbrews. Wonderful homemade desserts, pies, and most importantly, butter tarts! Portions are gladly "right sized" to suit those with a lighter appetite, so they can feel good about eating everything on their plate - and the price charged is adjusted accordingly. The view is wonderful, and the patio seating is fabulous on a gorgeous summer day. And if you think it can't get any better, well, it does: the owner is a kind, patient woman who always makes time to come over and chat with my folks despite my Mom's obvious Alzheimers...
